We opened our first studio in Cambridge in 2009 and have now expanded to three studios teaching almost 300 students per week. Children can join us from as early as the age of 2.5 although we normally audition children who are older than 5 years of age.

Our curriculum provides a solid technical foundation, which prepares dancers to adapt easily to diverse styles and choreography, and unleash their full artistic potential.

We are fully accredited by the Association of Russian Ballet and Theatre Arts (ARBTA) and the Board of Dance Qualifications and Training (BDQT).

All our dance exams are entered through the ARBTA and each student can complete every grade the association has to offer including the professional Diploma in Teaching Dance.

Ever since we opened we had our students getting into the most prestigious ballet organisations in the UK and abroad including The Royal Ballet School and the Vaganova Academy.

We specialise in the Vaganova method, a scientifically based and physiologically sound methodology, which creates impeccable artistry, creativity and full awareness of mind and body.

The Vaganova Method is a ballet technique and training system created by the Russian dancer and pedagogue, Agrippina Vaganova. It fuses elements of the traditional French style within the romantic era and the dramatic soulfulness of the Russian character, with the athleticism and virtuosity of Italian technique.

This training system is designed to involve the whole body in every movement, with equal attention paid to the upper body, legs and feet. Vaganova believed that this approach increased consciousness of the body, thus creating a harmony of movement and greater expressive range.
